Chicken fry is a spicy chicken stir fry recipe with all the dry spices available at home and is done in a typical south Indian style which looks mouthwatering and appealing and is the best chicken side dish. let jump and check out the Ingrdients.
INGREDIENTS:
TO GRIND:
Onion- 2 (medium size)
Red Chillies- 10 to 12 nos
Cumin Powder- ¼ tsp
Garam masala Powder- ¼ tsp
Coriander Powder- ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
Pepper corns- ¼ tsp
Fenugreek seeds- 1 pinch
Tomatoes- 2 (medium size)
Cashew- 1½ tbsp
Sesame seeds- 1 tbsp
Saunf- 1 pinch
TO COOK:
Chicken ½ kg
Oil- ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Dried fenugreek leaves(kasuri methi)- 1 tsp
Salt- to taste
Water
PROCEDURE:
· Grind all the ingredients under ‘TO GRIND’ section with little water into a smooth paste.
· In a kadai, heat the oil. Add ginger garlic pastes and fry for a minute.
· Add the ground paste and fry. Close the lid and Keep the flame on medium low. Stir occasionally.
· Add kasuri methi. Fry until the oil separates and the mixture changes its color to golden brown.
· Add chicken and give it a good mix. Add salt and stir.
· If required, add little water. Continue to cook untill the chicken is cooked completely.
· Serve this Chicken fry with Chapathi, roti or rice.
